MEETING NOTICE FOR ALGANSEE TOWNSHIP:

Check the Calendar on the bottom of the home page for all meeting changes!

Township Board Monthly Meetings: are held on the first Monday of each Month at 7:30 P.M. in the Algansee Township Hall, 378 S Ray Quincy RD, Quincy

When the first Monday of the month is a Federal Holiday or precedes an Election on the first Tuesday of the month, meeting will be held second Monday of the Month 7:30pm.

Planning Commission Meetings: are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. in the Algansee Township Hall, 378 S. Ray Quincy Rd, Quincy, MI

Zoning Administrator Office Hours: Tuesday and Thursday 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM no appointment necessary.

During a Sheriff declared emergency, a change of date, location or additional meeting the information will be posted at least 18 hours before the scheduled date at the Township Hall Building.

TAX COLLECTION INFORMATION:

To pay your taxes in person – Treasurer Sarah Strong will be open at 489 S. Ray Quincy Road, Quincy, MI 49036 the following hours:

Wednesday December 27, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM – No Appointment Necessary

Thursday February 29, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM – No Appointment Necessary

If you can’t make these hours, please call Sarah to set up an appointment at 517-639-1345.

Checks are payable to: Algansee Township

Payment must be received by February 29, 2024 to avoid interest. Postmarks are not accepted!

All taxes prior to 2023 Summer Taxes must be paid with the Branch County Treasurer’s Office, 31 Division Street, Coldwater, MI 49036 checks are made out to Branch County Treasurer.

To get your balance due, call 517-279-4321.

Board of Review to Appeal Assessments

If you have a clerical error please call the Township Assessor, Erica Ewers

You may appeal in person, by mail, or email to assessor@alganseetownship.com.

If appeal by mail send forms to – ASSESSOR, 1048 Campbell Road Quincy, MI 49082.
